Every year I like to take my kids to different Easter activities, and there are so many to choose from. Here is an easy-to-follow guide of some of the best local Easter happenings. Enjoy!

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Bunny Hop Brunch

The Easter Bunny will arrive early this year for youngsters and their families! While enjoying a delicious brunch, guests are treated to a style show featuring the latest in children’s Easter fashions presented by local merchants. A child’s auction, Easter egg hunt, and games keep the kids entertained while parents bid on fabulous Easter baskets filled with treasures donated by local merchants & interior designers. Bethany World Prayer Center – Eggs At The Park

Seven different locations: Howell Community Park, Hooper Road Park, North Street Park, Gardere Lane Park, North Sherwood Forest Community Park, Perkins Road Community Park, and PARDS North Park
Each location will have activities like face painting, free popcorn, ministry times, and a giant egg hunt.
Rural Life Museum – Old Fashioned Easter Celebration

Children ages 2 through 8 will have the opportunity to enjoy customs associated with Easter in Louisiana. Activities such as egg dyeing, paquing, and leg races will be available to participate in as well as hunting eggs for prizes. Admission: $5.00 per person. Children under 2 years are free.

Pretend, Play, Party – Egg-Stravaganza!
April 3, 10am-12pm
Pretend Play Party in Denham Springs is excited to celebrate their second annual Easter Egg Hunt with the community. Hopsy the Easter Bunny will be back and available for pictures from 10am-12pm. The event will feature a drawing, giving guests the chance to win one free 2015 membership. Guests will also have the opportunity to play, engage in a puppet show, take pictures with the Easter Bunny, hunt for Easter eggs, dress-up, and get their faces painted by Animated Art Face Painting. All you need to bring for your children are your Easter Baskets! Admission rates do apply but will be waived if a membership is purchased.
Chapel in the Oaks – Easter Egg Hunt

Introduce your neighbors to the life-changing message of Easter in a fun-filled day for families of younger children.
