What is a Toniebox In the simplest terms, a Toniebox is a screen-free audio box that plays music, “reads” stories, or plays messages. The Toniebox works in conjunction with individual “Tonies,” or characters that sit atop the box. The box itself is a roughly 5-inch cube. It is easy for little hands to hold and carry. Somewhere between sticky pancake hands and blue toothpaste all over the vanity, mamas sigh in their homes alone. Deadlines, appointments and meetings swirl in our heads. Milestones and meltdowns make their appearances. Overwhelm and loneliness can creep in. There’s no shortage of posts in online mom groups of women seeking friendship and solidarity. Did you have a rough night of sleep? Me too, friend. Let's have some coffee and cope with it together. Two girlfriends of mine kept inviting me to their MOPS group (now 225MOMS) and encouraging me to take...
Date Night or Girls Night or Just a Fun Time We recently went to Red Stick Spice Co. for a group cooking class. We booked this class in the summer the day after the cooking class schedule debuted for the fall because these cooking classes book up FAST! Our class was on a Tuesday night, however, their test kitchen offers weekday afternoon classes that usually have openings. I like to think I am comfortable in the kitchen. I follow many recipe developers and my favorite thing to watch on television is cooking shows. I experiment in the kitchen and absolutely love baking with my children. That being said: I have never done a private or group cooking class up until this...
Why You Should Hire a Caterer for Your Holiday Meals So, you are in charge of the holiday dinner. It doesn’t matter if it’s a family dinner, company dinner, house party, Friendsgiving, potluck or whatever, there is literally nothing easier than outsourcing and hiring a professional caterer. Listen, I know you have your grandmother’s old recipes and can order all of your groceries via Instacart. I understand that you can cook and just throw the dishes in the dishwasher or have the kids clean up. But do you really want to spend the entire week preparing to enjoy dinner only to be too tired? Not even! Just contact a reputable local caterer then kick back and really enjoy. If taking it easy...
