Dogtoberfest : My Family’s New Favorite Holiday

So, we all know my new found love for RaceTrac’s new digs , it’s fresh options, the coffee bar, Swirl World!? All of it we love way too much! The boys’ favorite? All of the hot dogs, ALL of the time!

Dogtoberfest : My Family's New Favorite Holiday

I will be the first to admit that hot dogs are my kids’ jam. Hot dog…cold dog…corn dog…they’ll take ’em any way they can get ’em and RaceTrac’s roller grill is their favorite stop, any day of the week! Mom’s favorite thing? The fact that they carry Nathan’s Famous 100% Premium All Beef Hotdog, an amazing source of protein and a “yes” to what they think is a not-so-healthy treat…#momwin!

While we are on the subject of favorites, let’s talk about their Big Easy Louisiana Dog: Beer brat and mustard. Y’all…THIS. THING. Is too good for words. My spin on it: mayo, jalapeños, and diced onions, classic perfection. My husband’s: Sauerkraut, banana peppers, mayo, mustard, nacho cheese and chili! There is seriously so many options, a hotdog stop really never gets old!

So, what is Dogtoberfest and why do we love it so much? Well, I’m glad you asked!
