Our First Fall Family Bucket List

Fall. It’s my second favorite time of the year. Pre-baby, I was excited for all things pumpkin flavored (yes, yes I am one of those people) and the change in weather (or at least one could hope). Now that I have a toddler, I’m even more excited to get to share my love of fall with my tiny human.

I’ve never been one of those people to create a bucket list, but now with Maverick being a year and a half, I feel like it’s a great time to start. I want to make sure he doesn’t miss any of the fun and that he really dives into seasons and has fun learning about them. I’ve been sucked into the Pinterest vortex for countless years … you know where you just sit there and daydream and lose all concept of time in planning for all of the seasons. Now that I’m coming out of that vortex, it’s the middle of October and I have a few weeks left to accomplish the things I’ve listed on my first ever bucket list.

My First Fall Family Bucket List

  1. Go to a pumpkin patch
  2. Jump in a leaf pile
  3. Carve a pumpkin
  4. Go to a festival
  5. Eat all things pumpkin
  6. Drink apple cider
  7. Bake a pie
  8. Tailgate
  9. Leaf craft
  10. Have a picnic
  11. Go on a hayride
  12. Go Trick or Treating
  13. Read a fall book
  14. Make a hand turkey
  15. Go for walks

If you want to follow along on or even join in on our fall adventures, we’ll be using the hashtag #RSMBFamilyFallBucketList. I’m hoping to be able to accomplish all of these and more.

What would you include on your Fall Bucket List?

Michelle
Michelle, and her wonderful husband Michael, moved to Baton Rouge from Houma, 3 years ago to help launch Anchor Chapel. Though it's been 3 years, there's a 99.9% chance she'll still get lost unless she uses the GPS on her phone. They are the parents to a spunky, Disney loving 2-year-old named Maverick. She graduated from Nicholls State University and earned her degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. She has since then has decided to trade that in for a life of a working stay at home mom. She loves all things Jesus, Lush, and Disney!
