What If Adults Acted Like Toddlers?

Have you ever just sat and thought “what if adults acted like toddlers?”

I mean the good, the bad and the ugly. The other day my son Maverick ran out of the bathroom yelling “I pee peed in the potty!!” I just couldn’t help but think how funny it would be to hear my husband yelling that, or any adult for that matter, and I instantly started laughing. Here are some phrases that I’ve either lived through, or my friends have, and I hope it can make you laugh as much as we did.

— Screaming at a high pitch only dogs can hear. At strangers. In the grocery store.

— Jumping on your bed during bed time, instead of sleeping.

— Yelling “I’m done pooping, come wipe?”

— Eating boogers.

— When they make comments about other people’s hair or appearance in the loudest voice possible …

— Pointing out the things you’re trying to hide. (i.e. pimples)

— Getting naked in public.

— Time out. (Granted some adults need this. Can I get an Amen?)

— Lifting a woman’s full length skirt up and saying “I like your shoes.”

— Pointing to someone’s stomach and saying “yucky.”

— Singing everything instead of just speaking.

— Drinking from bottles / no-spill sippy cups (all I’m saying is I wouldn’t spill my wine if it was in a sippy cup).

— Pointing at strangers and asking “What are they doing?”

— Staring at people while they sleep.

I’m sure you’re even thinking of some now and still laughing. Can you imagine adults doing some of these things at work in the middle of a business meeting … or even during an argument? I’m hoping this post will make you laugh in the middle of the chaos in your life!

What do your kids do that would be hilarious for adults to do?
