Baton Rouge Fall Bucket List

Get your boots and infinity scarves ready because fall is officially in full swing! Like many other women, fall is my favorite time of year, and I look forward to it all year long. So why do I get anxiety when it finally arrives? For some reason, I feel like the second fall hits I should already have my autumn wreath up, burlap draped across every surface, a pecan pie in the oven, and white pumpkins strewn across the house. It’s only been a few weeks into fall and I already feel behind. Sound familiar?

This year I’m letting myself off the hook. I will not allow myself to feel pressured to have a Pin-worthy holiday house, but instead I will let myself have fun with this favorite season of mine. I may have had a wonderfully decorated fall house in the past, but I’ve never been to a pumpkin patch!

So this is where I got the idea to make a little list of local, fun fall activities to do with my family and friends. If you’re like me at all, then feel free to download this free, fall printable and participate with me! It’s not an original idea by any means, and if I don’t get around to all of them, oh well! But I’m hoping that by displaying it in my house and crossing off activities as we do them, it will remind me to enjoy the season – pressure free with my two favorite pumpkins of all.

this beautiful weather a little more. Fall is not my favorite, but
these ideas might just take the sting out of the shorter

We still have yet to do “Boo at the Zoo” but mostly because we’re busy doing all the other things you’ve mentioned during the month of October. Also, I’ve yet to make a Fall Wreath. Can I just buy one from you? 😉
